Change on the view of Chartism

While the movement was arguably considered a failure for none of their commandments were agreed/enforced by law, they set the ball rolling for other similar demands from the working class across the globe. Attitude to the ideas of political equality and suffrage and their change is not prehistoric and only in the past century have we gotten to the a point in our political equality that we enjoy today. While most developed countries hold Chartism based beliefs, there are still many countries around the world that are yet to achieve the level of political equality in 19th Century Britain. Although a lot of advances have been made in the field, set by Chartism, there are many challenges ahead for political equality and Chartism.
