Attitude to the ideas of political equality and suffrage and their change is not prehistoric and only in the past century have we gotten to the a point in our political equality that we enjoy today. While most developed countries hold Chartism based beliefs, there are still many countries around the world that are yet to achieve the level of political equality in 19th Century Britain. Although a lot of advances have been made in the field, set by Chartism, there are many challenges ahead for political equality and Chartism.
