Chartism in the World

 

Although Chartism had a major impact upon Britain’s dependants and colonies, Chartism did not continue in name world wide. While many other European countries had political equality reform after the Chartist movement, they were not under the banner of Chartism. However, examples made by the Chartists in Great Britain and Australia may also have inspired many other classes in other countries to fight for political equality albeit not Chartism.
